Admission for Four Year Undergraduate Program (FYUP)

Thank you for choosing Ri Bhoi College, Nongpoh.

To ease the admission procedure, please read the following instructions:

  1. Students must apply in the prescribed form immediately after the publication of results by the recognized Board/ University in India or abroad.
  2. Application Forms and Prospectus can be obtained from the College Office on payment.
  3. Before filling up the Application Form, please read the Prospectus and Admission Procedure carefully.
  4. Each application must be accompanied by the following:
    • Self-attested copy of Marksheet, Registration Card, and Admission Card of the last SSLC/HSSLC examination or equivalent examinations.
    • Two recent passport-size photographs.
    • Self-attested Migration Certificate only for students coming outside the jurisdiction of Meghalaya Board/North Eastern Hill University.
  5. Fees should be paid to the Bank in the given College Account Number and after which applicants should submit the bill book at the college counter.
  6. Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Admission Norms:

  • Students who have passed plus 10+2 in their respective stream or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board in India or abroad which is considered equivalent by the University shall be eligible for Admission into the Undergraduate program.
  • Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any stream from a recognized Board/ University in India or abroad have the option to change to the Arts stream and students from the Science stream have the option to change to Commerce stream only.
  • Student who wishes to change the subject combination may do so within 30 days after admission. Only proper applications accompanied by the reissued form, duly filled in will be entertained. The change in the subject combination accorded to will be taken as final and binding.
  • Application forms submitted should be complete in all aspects.
  • Furnishing of false information or suppression of any factual information in the admission form will render the applicant liable to exclusion from admission to the college.
