EXAMINATION

An Examination is a sine qua non for any educational institution to assess the extent of students learning. The examination system has two components: Internal Assessment and End Semester Examinations. Students must appear in all the class tests and internal examinations conducted by the college. Marks obtained by the students in the Internal Examinations will be counted in the University Examinations. At the end of each semester, students have to sit for the End Semester Examinations conducted by the University.

As per University’s Notification No. F. Conf/13-5/ ORD/99/Vol- VII- 919 dated 26.03.2018, regardless of whether the candidates pass or fail in the End Semester Examination (s), they shall be eligible to proceed to the next Semester Course without having to wait for the declaration of results. However, a candidate failing in one or more papers shall be required to pass the paper (s) within a maximum period of 10 semesters.

A student shall have to clear the Degree within 5 academic years (10 semesters) from the date of admission to the degree course, beyond which a candidate shall be required to seek admission into the first semester as a Fresh Candidate.

Attendance

Students having less than 75% of attendance of all lectures delivered are liable to be debarred from the Examination. Any student who is absent from class continuously for more than one week without prior permission will have his/her admission cancelled.
